In this guide, there will be a quick overview of the two most used functions Chart and the Ship Schedule. For additional information, please refer to the pages in the User Manual.
You can find our login page under www.fleettracker.de
By default you land on the page Chart which shows all your ships.
Depending on the package of Fleettracker, you can use different functions.
The menus offer the following functionalities:
- The Dashboard gives you a fast overview of everything that is happening in Fleettracker.
- The Chart is the map on which the positions of the ships are shown and offers you many overlays for example for calculating a route, or for a weather forecast.
- In Schedule you can view the schedules of a ship, of ship groups, of your fleet, and when ports are being called.
- In Crew, you can view crew details of every ship.
- The Analysis contains options to analyze the performance of a ship
- CO2 contains the reporting options MRV and IMO DCS as well as the Data Quality Module.
- Data offers you an overview of the reports and positions of ships and offers the option to edit this information.
- Admin offers the status of your ship, to fill in ship details, and to change the general setting of your Fleettracker account.
In the following the most commonly used functions Chart and the Ship Schedule are explained. For a more thorough explanation please check the sites on the User Manual.
Overview
The default landing page of Fleettracker, after logging in, is the Chart. The chart offers an overview of your fleet and its positions.
Below is the default view of the chart.
In the following, different functionalities will be explained.
Ships
1. The ships of your fleet are shown in yellow.
2. If you click on a ship, it is now marked red, and lines appear, which are indicating the route based on the position data.
Blue: the past track shows the past position
Green: The airline between ports. This line is only shown for a brief moment.
Ship
If you have chosen a ship in the upper part of the ship panel, the lower part offers functionalities regarding that ship. The first tab Ship offers more detailed information about the ship.
Schedule
At the tab Schedule, you can see when the shipping schedule was last updated, the planned route, who the Captain, Chief Engineer, and the Chief Officer are.
Ship Schedule
Under the submenu Ship Schedule, you can find detailed information about a ship and its traveling schedule.
