E-Mail Messaging
Under the tab E-Mail Messaging, you can add e-mail accounts and send them e-mails of for example reports, that are part of Fleettracker.
This is the default view of the tab E-Mail Messaging.
1. To add a new person to the e-mail list, click on “Add new messaging”.
2. You can also change the settings of an existing e-mail entry, by marking the entry and clicking on “edit”.
3. A new window will open in which you can add information in the of a new user. If you edit an existing e-mail entry, you will see the settings of the user.
4. You can decide if the user gets e-mail notifications of every ship or only of certain chosen ships. If you choose the option “For selected vessels”, you can decide which ships should be ignored for the notifications and for which ships the user gets notifications.
5. Under “Message type”, “Report type” and “Analyse” you can choose which type of reports the user gets notifications about.
6. You can also delete a user to stop Fleettracker from sending emails. Mark the user and then click on “delete”.
7. A new window opens in which you can confirm the deletion by pressing “ok” or decline the deletion by clicking closing the pop-up window.
User Rights
The following main rights can be set:
See reports | If this is disabled then the reported form data are not visible to the user. |

See schedule | If this is disabled then the schedule is not visible to the user. |
May see personnel data | Includes May see officer names. If set, the user may have access to crew data. |
The following rights have mainly an impact on the Chart display:
May poll vessels |
The user may poll the Inmarsat-C terminals on board of the vessels if this option is checked. Please note that polling will lead to additional costs. |

May edit facilities | The user is allowed to edit, create and delete user-defined areas and places in the chart. |
May see detailed charts | If enabled the user may see not only overview sea charts but may also use the floating license to see detailed charts. |
May see forecast | If enabled then the user sees the weather forecast function on the chart. |
May see history | The user may see the position history if this option is enabled. Otherwise, he will only see the latest (current) position. |
May see ship names | If disabled, ship names are not shown on the chart. |
See current position | If this is disabled then the positions are not visible on the chart. |
The following rights have mainly an impact on the Chart display:
The schedule rights:
May add remarks to schedule entries | If set, the user may create, edit and delete remarks for schedule entries on the web page. |
May add schedule entry tasks | If set, the user may create, edit and delete tasks for schedule entries on the web page. |
May enter prefill schedule | If enabled then the user may create a prefill schedule on the web page that is directly sent aboard and can be imported in Daily Report. |
May see schedule entry remarks | The user may see the schedule entry remarks provided either from aboard or ashore via the web page. |
See agents | Allows the user to see agent information. |
Some admin settings:
May change own password | If enabled the user can change his own password. If not, only the administrator can do this. |

Forms and reports:
May edit analysis | The user may create, edit and delete user-defined analysis if this option is set. |
